BIEST LIEST J.G. Ballard
I recently recorded some music for the ‘Biest Liest’ book club - a monthly meetup and audio project, archived on Soundcloud. For their Ballard episode I read from his autobiography and improvised electric guitar and piano - listen to the full show and all the previous editions below:
Feel free to contact and follow ‘Biest Liest’ through their Instagram below:

'Giardino, August' physical versions
Each month I make a physical version of the exclusive releases for my brilliant Patreon and Bandcamp subscribers. This is volume 27, 'Giardino, August'. I stamp each disc by hand, write linear notes and type each cover, most often with some fat fingered mistake. Each sleeve is personalised for each subscriber and all copies unique.
I can't really make too many more of these but I do have a few spaces available for the physical edition at the moment. Just €15, including postage wherever you are. Sign up via the button below or simply drop me a message.

Rather than struggle to write something about this album that likely won't help with anyone's understanding or enjoyment of it I thought I'd just answer any questions. Anyone have anything that they'd like to know about this one? Comments below please.
That's it, that's it. Thanks as ever,
Stephen
FIRST THOUGHT BEST THOUGHT
Here’s a new, brief song from the new album that’s releasing to subscribers next weekend and to everyone else on 26.06.22. I’m happily playing concerts throughout June so I’m sure I won’t have so much time to handle everything and I think it’s easier for me to stagger the full release until the later in the month.
The rest of the album doesn’t go like this.
'Maastricht Morning' now available
An eleven song collection recorded in 2010 and previously unreleased is now available through my Bandcamp and Patreon subscriptions.

Here are the links again to my Bandcamp and Patreon subscriptions.
Listen to the rarely played ‘St Mary’ and ‘Tom’ below.
CD-r and digital download of 'The Groninger Museum' available now
The physical edition of the 23rd subscription release ‘The Groninger Museum’ is available now and throughout April. If you would like a copy of this please subscribe through my Bandcamp or Patreon site before the end of the month.
Spaces for this are limited as I make each copy myself. The discs are hand stamped and each typed sleeve personalised for you and this takes me a fair bit of time each month. Digital editions of each release are always available to subscribers but the CD-r edition is limited to about 30 copies.
Thanks to everyone who goes for these - I’m sending them out now and again at the end of the month for anyone new that signs up.

'Five New Songs' out today
A set of new songs is out today. Recorded a few weeks ago and written in sporadic, fast moments - these are loose things that I tried not to over work or over think. Piano, electric guitars, percussion and various things mostly first takes and all this.
